When I am all wired up with too much to do, I can usually guarantee that there are a bunch of half-done tasks hanging around.
The solution is to pick one thing and get it done. Completely. Even if it takes three days. Then move on to the next one.
I keep forgetting this.
The other part I keep forgetting is the power of no. Absolutely reject any new tasks.
It’s math. Stop adding new stuff to the pile and get rid of old stuff — fast or slow, it doesn’t matter. There is only one outcome.
It’s the same with debt. Start paying it down and keep paying until it’s gone. Don’t add any more debt while you’re doing this.
It’s the same with weight. Eat fewer calories than you burn and you will get skinny. There is no other possible outcome.
