Continuing my process of walking without sound blasting into my ears. . . .
While walking to lunch my brain popped up the phrase:
“Sufficient to the day is the evil thereof.”
Bang. Out of nowhere.
I didn’t remember where that came from. The internet remembered. The carpenter said that in The Sermon on the Mount.
The full story is:
“Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
One day at a time. Stay in the now.
