Bothered

Take “bothered” or “annoyed” as a cue.

What’s going on in your head?

That event, that person. The worst they can do is annoy you?

Brush it off and carry on. Why spend even an ounce of energy on the bothersome event or person.

“Bothered” or “annoyed” or “irritated” should be your signal that you are dealing with trivia. Make sure this is not a harbinger of something bigger. Once you are sure of that, be dismissive.

Eppur si muove.”

Keep going.
